Visions Built
Right of Passage successfully kicked off the new year with an evening of creativity, community, and connection at the Tigard Library on Wednesday, January 21. The "Build Your Vision for 2026" event welcomed 15 community members who gathered to set intentions by crafting vision boards expressing their goals for the year ahead.
The gathering provided a dedicated space for attendees to pause, reflect, and visualize their 2026 (and beyond) goals. With all supplies provided by Right of Passage, participants dove fully into the creative process, cutting and pasting images and words that represented their aspirations for 2026.
"We were thrilled to see the community come together in such a supportive environment," said organizers at Right of Passage. "Watching participants share their visions with one another created a powerful sense of accountability and
collective excitement. Everyone, with boards in hand, left feeling energized and ready to embrace the year and promised to revisit goals at the year’s end."
Beyond the artmaking, the event served as a hub for local connection. Some attendees took the opportunity to present their finished boards to the group, sparking encouraging conversations and fostering new relationships.
