Prom 2026 FAQs
-
Our goal is to provide a "Rite of Passage" that is often inaccessible to neurodivergent young adults. This event is more than a party; it is a structured opportunity for social connection, agency, and community belonging in an environment specifically designed for their success.
-
Wear what makes you feel great! Some guests will be in full formal wear (tuxes and gowns), while others might choose "Sunday best" or even something more casual and comfortable. The goal is celebration, not a strict fashion rule.
-
This event is specifically designed for neurodivergent young adults (ages 16–26+) and their friends, family, or partners.
-
To make sure everyone can enjoy the music at their own comfort level, we use specialized headphones. You can adjust the volume yourself or take the headphones off entirely if you want to chat in a quieter environment without leaving the dance floor.
-
We know that not everyone wants to dance all night. We will have 8 dedicated hobby tables—"Hyperfixation Stations"—set up around the room. These are quiet-ish areas where you can engage with specific interests like gaming, art, or puzzles and meet others who share your passions.
-
Yes. If you need a break from the stimulation, we have a designated quiet area away from the main party where you can recharge.

-
While many events focus on "supervision," we focus on empowerment.
Autonomy: Features like the Silent Disco allow guests to manage their own sensory needs.
Engagement: "Hyperfixation Stations" provide natural social "landing spots" for guests to connect over shared interests rather than forced small talk.
Dignity: We prioritize high-quality aesthetics, professional photography, and a mature atmosphere that respects our guests as young adults.
-
Right of Passage staff and volunteers are present to facilitate the event, manage the environment, and ensure safety. However, we do not provide 1-on-1 personal care or behavioral support. If a guest requires 1-on-1 assistance in their daily life, we strongly encourage their support professional or a family member to attend with them (ticket required).
-
We welcome neurodivergent young adults (roughly ages 16–26+) who are looking for a celebratory social experience. Our environment is designed to be inclusive of various support needs, but guests should be comfortable in a large-group community setting.
