Beaverton’s Got Talent

This fall, middle and high schoolers in Beaverton, OR, answered Right of Passage’s call for talent. Several talented acts signed up for the first annual talent show held inside the Beaverton City Library’s auditorium on Sunday, October 19th.

The event marked the beginning of what will be a new tradition of celebrating local voices, artistry, and community connection in Beaverton.

The call attracted a wide range of participants with acts and presentations that included Taekwondo forms and stunts, a stand-up comedy routine, a family sing-along with guitar accompaniment, and a creative display of Lego super fidgets.

The event also attracted an audience that, with coaching from our MC, Gavin Brown, displayed their singing and dancing abilities.

Beth Pinchot, Right of Passage co-founder, shared a heartfelt message that included the organization’s origin story and plans for the future.
